Kyiv's recovery

Due to the full-scale armed Russia invading Ukraine, a lot of UA enterprises were forced to suspend their functioning. Some production capacity of industrial groups were destroyed, others were significantly damaged during active hostilities. Budgets revenues have declined significantly as people's incomes declined and economic downturn. Deferred desires, unsatisfied consumers demand etc. have led to a sharp price rise as well as the shortage of certain groups of goods.

Some of the citizens' homes were completely destroyed. According to the latest official data more than 200 residential buildings were destroyed, 30 kindergartens, 46 schools and more than 70 other infrastructure objects were damaged. People found themselves in extremely difficult living conditions.

It can take months or even years to renew what has been destroyed. Among other things, a significant percentage of families have lost a steady income that allows them to maintain their household. Such families are going through a time of hard waiting, they cannot be properly supported and rely only on outside support - our support. Reforming the labor markets in Ukraine and finding new jobs will take a lot of time. They will be able to maintain their families in a normal way not so soon.

Volunteer Hub

Nations go through difficult times from time to time. Such times require a rapid response to today's challenges, reformatting activities and consolidating society. Ukraine is going through the most difficult times of its independence. The Russian invaded our lands, destroying everything and everyone on its bloody path. The covers we see every day in the columns of news outlets do not fully convey that unreal horror; they only make it clear that we must go on doing. The genocide of the Ukrainian people that is currently taking place in the temporarily occupied territories of the state is nothing but the horror of the 21st century.

Despite all this, Ukrainians are an indomitable and invincible people. Our remarkable unity, courage and perseverance give us the strength to pass this stage proudly. By supporting each other and creating the necessary forces of national resistance, we have become a shield of freedom for the European civilized world.

At the same time, according to the latest UN data, more than 6 million Ukrainians have already left their homes and been forced to move from Ukraine in search of a safe place to live. As of the end of May 2022, more than 1.5 million of them have already returned. The rest of them stay in their homes guarding their towns, villages and settlements. Other people stay in their homes guarding their towns, villages and settlements. It should be noted that some administrative units of the country, particularly in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv regions, found themselves in a kind of trap. Due to the occupation, approaches to certain settlements were blocked, railways and infrastructure facilities were destroyed. It is very difficult and sometimes impossible to deliver the necessary provisions, medicines or evacuation.

In Ukraine, there are special government accounts for the accumulation of funds allocated for humanitarian and military assistance. However, lack of human resources, some needs are still not fully met and may require special efficiency.

It would be impossible to provide all the necessary support without volunteers and various non-governmental organizations. Support for these associations is now essential and can be provided not only materially but also methodically, for example through coordination and mutual cooperation and assistance.
